Hello all, like a lot of people, the first time I heard of Tribe was playing the song "Outside" fro Rock Band. It's like my favorite song from the game!
Does anyone know what the former band members are up to today? I know Greg is a vice president at Harmonix. Terri did the voice of SHODAN and she and her husband scored for video games, but that was a few years ago. What are they doing now? What about Janet? Thanks.

The last I knew Janet worked for a publishing/advertising agency in New York City. Greg, Terri, and Eric have careers in the Boston area. I believe Dave Penzo lives in New Hampshire and Mike Lesvesque stills works in the music industry.

The last I knew Janet worked for a publishing/advertising agency in New York City. Greg, Terri, and Eric have careers in the Boston area. I believe Dave Penzo lives in New Hampshire and Mike Lesvesque stills works in the music industry. Greg & Eric work for Harmonix the company that developed Guitar Hero & Rock Band. I have been in contact with both Greg and Eric via e-mail. Greg recently sent me some great shots of Tribe that I will add to the photo page soon. Terri has done some work on video games, but I believe she only freelances. Dave Penzo lives in Vermont, and he does post here on occasion. Dave had been most generous sending me lots of photographs for the site. I believe Janet lives in the New York/New Jersey area. I actually ran into Mike Levesque, who I've known since freshman year of high school, at The Station Benefit Concert in Providence, RI a few weeks ago. Mike told me that he is currently playing with Seven Mary Three. After Tribe broke up Mike played with Janet's solo band for a little while before moving on to Scarce then Talking To Animals (who I saw at a reunion show in Cambridge, MA last summer), Muzzle, The Candy Butchers among other bands. He has done tons of studio work with for example; David Bowie, Dave Navarro, Juliana Hatfield & Natalie Imbruglia to name a few. Check out the links page for a link to his website to see more. On the photographs page there is some fairly recent photographs of most of the members of Tribe. I was lucky enough to meet Janet once back in December 06'. She was sitting in with Mike Viola and The Candy Butcher for a couple songs at the Lizard Lounge in Cambridge. She told me that she was working on some new music. Maybe someday she will come up with something that she would like to share with us. We've exchanged a few e-mails over the past couple of years. She has been kind enough to send me some pictures for janetlavalley.com. She recently sent me some pictures of herself from last Halloween. She was dressed up as Amy Winehouse. I will be adding them to janetlavalley.com soon.

Well, I can't tell you where Terri and Eric are right now (other than what Steve L. has already mentioned), but I can tell you where they were last Saturday.
Jenn and I bumped into them at Ikea in Stoughton. Like an idiot, I didn't bother to ask about Outside being in Rock Band. It's really funny how things change. It's been almost 14 years since I've talked to them (that being the night of Tribe's last show), so the conversation this time was about what grade out collective kids are in and boring stuff like that.
Anyway, it was good to see them. They looked really good, their daughter is really cute (but very shy like a lot of little kids are) and it was good to hear that they've been enjoying their work on video games.
Steve, if you email them again, please say "Hi" for me and that it was good to see them and pass along my email address if you wouldn't mind.
Oh, and I did mention that I've been sending some stuff for this site and they mentioned that, yes, they'd been in contact with you about it.
