My friend the "Ayatollah of Rock-n-Rolla" recently uploaded 3 previously unseen Tribe videos to YouTube. One of them "Here At The Home" is currently on the home page. All three of them can be seen on the Videos Page.

Thanks for the videos. This is my first post on this amazing site. I too was a huge fan of Tribe in the early 90's. I was at Boston College from 1988-1992, and Abort was constantly in the CD player my senior year. Abort and Sleeper have still not grown stale after almost 20 years. Which brings me to the purpose of this post. I am almost positive that the YouTube videos that were just posted are from a concert on the quad (or "Dustbowl") at BC in the Spring of 1992, not 1993 at Boston University. I know this because I was there, and it was an amazing show. The BC student government (the "UGBC" on the banner) did a great job in getting them, but the turnout was not great -- there were probably no more than 50 people or so watching the show. As I recall, it was part of "senior week," and it was in the middle of the day, and not real well publicized. I, however, was ecstatic. How often do you get to see your favorite band (and still one of my favorites) at such an intimate show? I still talk about that show as one of the best I have ever seen, not just because of the music (which was great) but because me and a few other fans had the band almost all to ourselves.

John, Thanks for clearing up some information that I had wrong, but I am still pretty sure the show happened in 93. The reason I feel this way is because that is Mike Levesque on the drums, and he didn't join the band until 1993. If this show happened in the spring of 92 that would have been Dave Penzo on the drums. Also I looked at the original e-mail list, and this show is mentioned in Tribe Digest #55 through Tribe Digest #60. I will let my friend the "Ayatollah of Rock-n-Rolla" know that the show was at BC not BU so he can edit his YouTube page.
