Wow -- really great to see those videos! I remember the Conan appearance from when it first aired, but I never did see the Joyride and Supercollider videos. Steve, thanks for digitizing and posting them!

Well I was shocked at my reaction to seeing the Conan performance, to see Tribe playing live really brought back the memories for me. It was great to see how electric they were. Tribe were really such a wonderful band who didn't make it as far as they deserved. Thanks Steve & all who brought these videos to my PC.

Ok, someone sent me a DVD with Tribe performing two songs live from back in 89. I want to rip files that I will be able to have on my website for download. The disc is about 7 minutes long. I want to seperate the two songs into two files preferably .wmv. Is there a free software that I can use to do what I want to do. All I have found is software that puts a message on the files that says the name of the software.
Do I have to pay the $50.00 for the software?

Use a program like jahshaka (http://jahshaka.org/) to edit the movie, split it into two halves (should be fairly easy to work out, I'm no expert in it), and then use windows movie maker or other to convert to wmv.
