Hey Tribe Fans, Because you asked for it I am for a limited time making Tribe's Here At The Home CD available in higher quality mp3's. Download it now while you can. I plan on leaving the files on my server for about 1 week. They take up a lot of space, and I don't want to leave them there forever. The files are neatly zipped up, and the size of the file you will be downloading is 78.69 mb's. Right click on this link and save target as: www.stevelathamdesign.com/tribe/mp3/hath.zipI also have a ton of stuff that John sent me a couple months ago. I have not had a chance to figure out how I am going to make all of it available on the site. The stuff is scans of newsletters and concert flyers. I will figure it out soon I hope. Steve

Well, I'm listening to this through, blasting it even, on a pair of Event TR5 studio monitors with an Event Sub 8 subwoofer. The difference is night and day. Thanks again Steve, I just hope some day the band organise a re-release or perhaps FLAC downloads sometime - and I would be quite happy to pay for either. This has since become one of my favourite 90s rock albums, and I do much prefer it to their "grungier" re-recording on "Abort".

I have taken the files down. They were up for about 3 weeks. If at some point there is more demand I will put them back up. I am also considering making Abort & Sleeper available to download. Is there any interest in this? Or does everyone have copies of those albums?

Thank you for the files, Steven. I downloaded them the day you put them up here and they sound great. I would love to have the other 2 albums, but only if they are unavailable otherwise - are they out of print now?

Thank you for the files, Steven. I downloaded them the day you put them up here and they sound great. I would love to have the other 2 albums, but only if they are unavailable otherwise - are they out of print now? I just checked Amazon, and there are a few used copies of both Abort & Sleeper. You can get a few copies of Sleeper for .01 and up. The cheapest copy of Abort is $28.92. Maybe it is time to upload high quality mp3's of Abort? It would only be for a limited time.

Maybe it is time to upload high quality mp3's of Abort? It would only be for a limited time. I think we'd be up for that! I'm not sure what version I have at the moment; it might be 320Kbps, but I re-encoded then into 192-320Kbps VBR0 a short while ago so I can't remember. EDIT: And while I'm here, I might as well introduce myself! Hi everyone, I'm Jordan, I'm 17, and I only really got into Tribe this week (by which I mean I started listening to songs that weren't singles or "Outside" ), and my god they were good! I'm even thinking of buying their albums when I have the money. I'll have to admit that I've pirated "Abort" and "Sleeper", as the albums are rare and very expensive, although not as expensive as "Here at the Home", but big thanks to Steve for uploading the high quality version of it a few weeks ago!

Thanks again Steve! You are doing great work keeping a worthy band's memory alive and well, as evidenced by traffic on your site. Where else can a 17 yr. old get so much information about Tribe?

Thanks Steve for the files. You listed Godzilla as an unknown venue. I saw Tribe play Godzilla as the encore song to end their incredible Halloween show at Grovers in Beverly around 1990. I do remember Janet coming out to the front of the stage in a french maid's outfit.
