Hmm, it's a real shame to see the forum is practically dead nowadays. I'm still dying to hear those demo songs from Janet.

You're not the only one who wants to hear the rest of Janet's solo tracks. The ones she's shared with us thus far are incredible. Great songs, great production. I know she's looking for a way to release this stuff in a more official capacity, but I'd love to hear more material in the meantime. In particular, I'm desperate to hear Song of Salome and her version of Dirigible.

i've been wondering...even if Tribe never reunites for a gig or album or tour, the demos for their never-finished 3rd album were recorded. If the original tapes are still held by the band members, how much work/time/etc would it take to finsih off the tracks with harmonies/layered keys/fills/etc?

I thought I'd post and keep this thread open. All of us would still love to hear tracks from Janet's unreleased cd. The three we've been treated to are great, and here's hoping for the rest to be unveiled sometime in the near future?
At least, could we get Dirigible in the meantime? I remember hearing that version briefly on the radio, and always loved it!
thanks!
