Eric Brosius has joined the Boston band Eddie Japan -- www.eddiejapan.com. He takes over for George Hall, who left the band in the summer of 2010. Eddie Japan also features guitarist Bart LoPiccolo, brother of Tribe bass player Greg LoPiccolo. The band was formed in 2007 by singer/songwriter David Santos and multi-instrumentalist Chris Barrett, and also includes Jim Collins on bass, and Jason Baldock on drums. Their music is best described as cinematic, '60s-inspired pop with strong lead vocals and classic melodies. Eddie Japan released an EP entitled "four by six" in late 2009, and aims to record a full length CD in 2011.
